The Jane's Combat Simulations series is one of the best collections of combat flight simulation games ever release. From the mid-nineties to the early 2000s, the series was the go-to for almost every flight simulation enthusiast, and somehow still is.

The game can be played in two ways: Casual mode and Simulation mode. I'm playing the game on casual mode since I'm just having fun, but if you want to get more serious, there's always the Simulation mode where most of the cockpit controls are clickable and have an actual function associated to it. A really impressive feature at the time.

Since this is an old game, it might be considered an abandonware title even though I haven't found any reliable information that can confirm that. Fortunately, this game is still pretty easy to find on the internet.
